Midland Community Gardens (MCG) started in 2011, with a focus on fun as much as growing food. The town donated some land at Little Lake Park, and many groups dedicated time, energy, and expertise, including the Midland Parks Dept., CNCC Garden Crew (THANKS MARTIN!), TIM-BR Mart, Keith Johnston, Norman's Garden Gallery, Xtremely Graphic Signs, Sunsport Signs, Bestway Bestway Rental, ZipZap Translations, Huronia Museum, Huronia Community Foundation, TD Friends of the Environment, B&L Tree Services, and Lyn Lacroix. We are also grateful to all the people who have donated tools and seeds, and who have come out to help.
